Hotel Italia is accessible to disabled, elderly or younger guests. Right in front of the hotel entrance is an area that allows the disabled guests’ cars to stand and their luggage to be unloaded. Hotel access is easy, since the entrance has no steps and the sliding doors are automatic. The reception is right in front of the entrance and our qualified staff – available 24/7 – will be glad to provide guests with the assistance they need. Guests can then reach their rooms using the wide lift that allows carrying strollers and wheelchairs with ease.
Due to the recent renovation of the whole building, all the 38 en-suite bedrooms of our Hotel are accessible. More specifically, one of our bedrooms fully meets the strictest EEC rules, thus allowing our disabled guests to use it in complete autonomy.
The Hotel Italia staff considers accessibility as a very important issue – we are aware of the fact that without the right facilities, some of our guests would miss the chance to enjoy the unique experience of travelling, and the discovery of different stories, cultures and traditions. Hotel Italia is therefore committed to offering accessibility to all its guests – and this is reflected in its joining “tourism_net.fvg”, the first tourism business Network in Friuli Venezia Giulia. One of the three long-terms issues dealt with by the Network is accessible tourism for the disabled, the elderly, families with children and people with food intolerances.
Hotel Italia’s staff and services are available to meet all guests’ specific needs and make their stay in Trieste an unforgettable experience.
